Résumé of Eco-Congregation Meeting held on 27 August 2008
- Teabag caddies placed in the church hall, office & Crossroads for recyling onto the compost bin.
- Church hall users to be contacted informing them of St Luke's commitment as an eco-congregation church.
- Eco-cover handwash in soap dispenser.
- Batteries – to begin collecting from congregation.
- Harvest services on Sunday 12 October - discussions on how a care for creation & harvest theme could be brought to each of the services,
through preaching, prayers and other activities to involve all of the congregation.
- Eco-congregation stall in the church hall after the morning services was also discussed, with the sale of environmentally friendly/recycled
products alongside the Traidcraft stall.
