The Parochial Church Council (PCC) have the responsibility, in promoting in the Parish the whole mission of the church — its worship, growth and care, evangelism as well as its outreach and ecumenical co-operation and St Luke's Halsall school.

Pam Stubbs was appointed a Deanery Synod representative for 1 year, Carol Firth was appointed as Electoral Roll Officer, June Barnard was appointed as our Cathedral link person and we will seek permission for Gill Bryson to administer communion at home. It was also agreed to join In Another Place and to contribute £1,000 for this financial year and to earmark £2,000 a year from Giving in Grace funds for the World Mission group. The PCC also met with members of the Sefton deanery pastoral committee to discuss God's mission in the area. Finally a resolution was passed unanimously inviting the Deanery Synod to consider the possibility of changing its deanery boundaries to something more suitable.
