A funeral marks the close of a human life on earth. It is the opportunity for friends and family to express their grief, to give thanks for the life which has now completed its journey in this world and to commend the person into God’s keeping.
Your first point of contact is with a funeral director who will guide you through everything that needs to be done, including liaising with the church to arrange the date and time of the service. The clergy who be conducting the funeral will then come and visit to arrange the service with you.
Our church offers you and your family a bereavement group that meet on the first Tuesday of each month as well as a Pastoral Care group who can visit you after the funeral.
