Womens Fellowship commenced in 1972 with five ladies meeting in one of their houses under the name of Young Wives.
As numbers increased they moved to St. Luke’s Church Hall. To encourage all ladies to join, it was decided to change the name to Womens Fellowship. Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 8pm with a wide variety of speakers. We welcome ladies not connected to St. Lukes.
In the past we organised a Hot Pot evening every year which was held on St. Luke’s Day enabling us to make donations to a lot of local charities. We also had Cheese and Wine evenings usually with musical entertainment.
A Christmas Meal at a local venue is held and a summer outing is arranged each year, although due to the lockdowns this has not been possible.
We have speakers booked for the next couple of months.
